DESCRIPTION:Business Preparedness Series: Emergency Response & Fire Safety WorkshopThe Greater Irvine Chamber\, in partnership with the City of Irvine and the Orange County Fire Authority\, presents the next installment in its Business Preparedness Series: Emergency Response & Fire Safety WorkshopThe City's Office of Emergency Management is widely recognized for its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program\, an eight-course\, hands-on training series that builds readiness\, safety\, and community resilience skills for Irvine residents. As part of this series\, the Office of Emergency Management and the Orange County Fire Authority have developed a CERT-inspired workshop specifically tailored for businesses.This hands-on session focuses on the practical aspects of workplace emergency preparedness\, helping businesses strengthen emergency response plans\, improve employee safety\, and better prepare for fire\, natural disasters\, and other unexpected disruptions. Attendees will gain actionable strategies to support business continuity\, protect operations\, and enhance resilience in the face of emergencies.About the Series:This coordinated series of expert-led workshops is designed to help local businesses proactively prepare for emergencies and disruptions. Structured as a cohort-based program\, each workshop is offered once per year and designed to build on the others. Together\, the sessions provide a comprehensive approach to business preparedness\, covering business resilience\, disaster readiness\, emergency response\, and fire safety.The series is intended to repeat annually\, creating ongoing opportunities for businesses to strengthen preparedness over time.
