The design highlights many of Irvine’s most recognizable landmarks and symbols, including the Great Park Balloon, the Giant Wheel at Irvine Spectrum Center, the University of California, Irvine, Peter the Anteater, Tanaka Farms, and elements that honor the city’s agricultural heritage. Together, these illustrations tell the story of a community built on innovation, education, entrepreneurship, and opportunity.

The Great Park Balloon represents Irvine’s ability to transform and reimagine the future. The Giant Wheel reflects the city’s energy, entertainment, and gathering places. References to UCI, Langson Library, and Peter the Anteater celebrate Irvine’s culture of learning, research, and academic excellence.

The mug also recognizes Irvine’s agricultural roots through imagery inspired by the historic Irvine Ranch, including oranges, lima beans, asparagus, strawberries, and Tanaka Farms.
