We ignore warning signs. We avoid difficult conversations. We accept comfortable explanations—even when part of us knows better. 

Is Ignorance Bliss—What We Pretend Not to Notice brings together six short plays about the truths hiding in plain sight: in our families, our relationships, our workplaces, our food, and the authorities we trust. Sometimes funny, sometimes painful, and often uncomfortably familiar, these stories ask what happens when the things we avoid can no longer be ignored.
