Atairgin is a biotechnology company dedicated to improving the quality of care in women's health. The company's platform technology is based on bioactive extracellular regulating lipids, or lysophospholipids, which offer multiple product opportunities in diagnostics, therapeutics, in vitro fertilization and contract development. Atairgin has initially applied its proprietary technology to develop blood tests for the routine, early-stage detection of ovarian and breast cancer and plans to file its first product application in late 2001.
