About
Irvine Theater Company (ITC) is a civic-minded performing arts organization dedicated to strengthening Irvine's cultural identity, creating shared experiences, and developing the city's creative economy through innovative storytelling.
Founded in 2023, ITC produces contemporary theater that explores the ideas, challenges, and human experiences shaping our communities. Our unique creative engine combines neuroscience-informed acting methods with digital storytelling technologies to create engaging live performances and educational opportunities.
Our long-term vision includes developing the Theater of Tomorrow at Irvine's Great Park, part of a proposed cultural complex featuring an advanced digital mainstage, a community black box theater, an outdoor amphitheater, and a free Digital Arts Garden that brings public art and storytelling into the surrounding landscape.
Through theatrical productions, arts education, and partnerships with businesses, schools, artists, and civic organizations, ITC seeks to create meaningful economic, community, and artistic impact.
We invite Irvine's business and civic leaders to help us build a cultural institution that reflects the creativity, diversity, and innovative spirit of our city.
